A magnificent morning at Portland Bill lighthouse on the Isle of Portland in South Dorset. The sunrise on this particular morning was stunning, and I happened to discover a carpet of pink Thrift growing on the cliff top just in time to capture the flower heads as the rising sun illuminated them for the first time that day.
