About Dual Aspect

Dual Aspect Photography is owned and operated by husband and wife photographers Thomas & Pat Dobner.

Both semi-professional photographers we enjoy nothing better than spending our spare time together outdoors taking photographs. We both use Nikon digital equipment of the highest quality to give our images the vibrancy and clarity that we demand.

We are both happy to photograph a wide variety of subjects, although we each have our specific areas of interest that we tend to favour.

Thomas prefers wide angle landscape photography, packing in as much detail as possible into his images to bring the viewer into the scene as if being there themselves. Pat however tends to focus on the smaller details within a location, making good use of her mid-range zoom macro lens to produce graphic images of the world in close up. We both share a mutual passion for bird photography.

Our differing perspectives allow us to extract very different images from every location, and to ensure that wherever we travel together we always come home with a diverse set of images which captures the essence of the location in a variety of ways. This is what give us our Dual Aspect on the world around us.
